I do not have any formal music training, but I have a deep passion for singing and playing instruments. I play (more accurately, try to play) the flute, guitar, piano, mouth organ, harmonium, and violin, with the flute being my primary instrument. My musical interests mainly revolve around Bollywood songs, and I enjoy listening to legends like Md. Rafi, Mukesh, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghosal, and KK. During my time at IIT Delhi and MSU, I frequently performed at college events with my friends. Currently, I upload my flute recordings to YouTube whenever I find the time and feel good about a particular recording.
I enjoy playing cricket and am a bowling all-rounder. Batting right-handed and bowling right-arm medium pace, I have had the pleasure of representing my hostel team at IIT Delhi and the Santa Clara cricket club while in California. Nowadays, I like to keep up my cricketing spirit by participating in the Lansing cricket league during the summers. Sachin Tendulkar is my all-time favorite batsman, and I have a great admiration for Wasim Akram as a fast bowler. Watching ODI and Test cricket matches is a favorite pastime of mine.
